No, no they won't. How do I know? Cause they wouldn't take me....And I even qualified for their "training" program. Probably won't take the OP, either. They are getting pickier since their CSA score is embarrassing to say the least. But that's good new for the OP.

Might try Covenant....they suck, but its a foot in the door if you're not relying on your paycheck for survival.

Just got the call and will be heading to Gary Indiana for training on flatbed trucking. Can't wait. Have no issues with USX, they gave me an opportunity to drive for them, but I messed up. DAC report from hireright, came in yesterday and clean, (I'm guessing USX kept in on the company level since I was not cited for anything, BIG BLESSING FROM THE LORD!!!!) Looking forward to being trained and back on the road.

You think that it will bad?, Well be that as it may, I will hopefully be working for Falcon. I was up front with them and told them of the circumstances, and the reason of why I was let go. They didn't and for right now, don't have a problem. Prehaps that is they need warm bodies, I have read the comments about them,....but understand this about me, I want to drive. period. Flatbedding is going to be difficult, however, I will do my very best to work as hard as I can for two or three years and then find a dry van company to finish my career with if not with Falcon. Right now, though, I am proud to be in the flatbed community.

I definately will. I just that this career will be much harder, so I pay more attention to detail and plan my routes in advance. Thank-you for the encouragment.

Falcon never called back after the medical, and the bills were starting to pile up. No one else was returning calls or stated that I needed more experience, until Western Express called and now I will be back in orientation on the 25th of February. I won't be doing flatbedding but dry van again. I am looking forward to this.
