ridiculously long presentation. cut it down to less than 3 minutes if you want people to pay attention. i quit after 2 minutes, realizing that the poorly put together presentation was still gonna go on for over 6 more minutes. either that, or put some money into it and make it less boring. seems like a decent enough concept, but why is it superior to the lunchbox cookers that can do the same job and are readily available everywhere right now?

There are already several options on the market...from 12V "lunchbox" units that heat the canned food up in the can...to 12V sauce pans that heat the food like you would on the stove at home....to 12V travel mugs that either keep beverages warm or are capable of heating/boiling liquid.

For Your Information... I took it down because of the comment on the presentation... I wasn't happy with it myself... I saw the problems as they were stated by the first poster... when I have a more suitable presentation I will try again. Now concerning your post... I have had 2 lunchboxes... I know all about them... and yes you can do a can of soup and you need to add water to create a steam bath for it to be more efficient. Then you need to wear a glove to get it out and open so you don't burn your hand... and it takes 30 to 40 minutes to heat to a suitable temperature... then you have to put it into a suitable container to eat it.
The mug looking thing is to warm up your coffee... key word being warm... it draws milliamps being an indicator of it's capabilities... mine draws 8.33 amps... mine heats to 212 degrees in approximately 28 minutes... with repeated testing.
The coffee pot thing... has an immersion heater mounted in the bottom... try keeping that clean and not burning food on it... as with a cream based soup. It's good for coffee and water period.

The only thing you listed worth much for food is the lunchbox... it works great for many different things, sandwiches, pizza, frozen stouffers... that's about it.... Soup.. not so much.
My product will heat a can of soup or any food that can be canned.... out of the can in 15-20 minutes (Hot)... you don't need to stir it... it won't burn.

Your hot plate is fine if you like to cleanup multiple pots, bowls, utensils... and you're sitting at a stop... mine moves with you and only needs to be turned on and off... unplug the power cord from the mug and walk into your delivery with a nice hot meal... eat... go into the rest room and rinse out and dry the mug and it's ready to go the next time you want to use it.... or you can continue to sit in your bunk stirring your pot.
Heat and eat in one unit that is what mine offers. It's for a lot more people than truck drivers... I have done my homework on this... I use a heating system that previously has only been used in industrial applications... mine breaks new ground. So while you think you know it all... you can continue to play with your toys... gettin' on down the road... while I'm sitting in a meeting with Black and Decker or Thermos hammering out a licensing agreement.... while you hammer down the road... My mug will be in truck stops... Walmart, Home Depot... My life will become what you could only hope for... I've done 19 years behind the wheel... I've had enough...
Just because there's one toy on the market should we stop making new toys...? I built the better mouse trap... Good luck to you... and drive safe.
