No i think they only lease their trucks. Maybe try Landstar, CRST Malone, ATS

One thing I did when I was in flatbedding was every time I had a tarp to reward myself I would put that amount of money (tarp pay) towards a .motel room my train of thought then became "hey give all the tarp loads to me" nothing like getting out of the trk for a night.

everybody is telling you more or less the same thing. i'd like to talk about something a little different. one thing to think about is, yes, you'll get more exercise, but that exercise is out in ALL KINDS OF WEATHER. snow, rain, freezing temps, boiling temps....if you go true otr, then you should be aware of the working conditions, lots of people dont think about that and they are surprised to find they are throwing chains in 15 degrees and have no gloves. just be well prepared. there is nothing like flatbeddin, you'll love it or hate it, doesnt seem to much in between. i've had men ask me(i'm female) isnt it too hard? i always say something like..obviously not. but i dont mind getting dirty, sweating, freezing...i love the work. good luck with whatever you deccide....

Ya I talked to a flatbed driver at the t/s the other day. He told me to go for it, that it wouldnt take long to figure out if its for me. Its just hard to make a decision that could be wrong and set me back. Thats why ive been reading up on it and asking questions

    Thx for the comments all!

Thats the best way to do it! Educate yourself the best you can so you can trust youve made the right decision. And if you do go for it, stick it out, and give er he11

A flatbed driver ALWAYS carriers a few pairs of gloves.
