Hi dude!As I believe this schools for guys who already have CDL.My advice to you-get CDL in Russia, get some driving experience in Europe and when you move to Abbotsford ,you can upgrade your skills at this schools, especially at Mountain Driving Academy.Good luck!

Go with mti, they have good instructors and you will get alot of training driving in the mountains near Castlegar. We have lots of newbies driving for us after you graduate mti. I drive for cpx. Good pay, bonuses and good equipment. I do one Caglary run and two Okanagan runs a week out of our Cloverdale yard. My take home pay after taxes is 1850.00 for two weeks and a 200.00 bonus every month on top of that.

aaah no..you do not need a commerical drivers license to go to mti, just a basic class 5 drivers license in BC and lots of money 8,500.00 and up for the two or three month course. You can get sponsored 100% by the government if you have been unemployed/laid-off and on unemployment income assistance.

ceepeexxx, it means that
if i had a mti diploma i would have a chance to find a truckdrivin job?
Its very sirious question because i havent enough money to live in Canada without occupation
You wrote that you usually have 2-3 trip per week (Calgary and Okanagan)
If i want to work harder, is it possible? For example in Moscow one of my driver made 5-6 trip Moscow-Berlin-Moscow for a month
And i suppose that for a first time i will recieve not more than 0.25-0.3 for a mile....not good, but not bad too

marry Christmas!
oh... i just have seen my message...my english suxx, i know.... but i m trying

Sam, once you pass mti there are a lot of good companies that will take noobies and place them in a truck with a driver trainer for a month. If they think you got what it takes, you're on your own making .40 cents/mile. If you do a certain amount of miles a month, you get 5 cents bonus on all your miles for that month. So in fact, you can make .45 cents a mile. But thats alot of driving for most people. We have laws in Canada that govern the amount of time you can legally drive...some companies adhere to it, and some companies not soo much. I hope this helps, I don't know what else you have to do since you will be new to Canada. Try and email MTI for more info, that would be your best bet! BTW, Happy New Year..Ron
