What I might say against Pepsi could only cost the company I work for an account with them so my reasons for picking USPS over Pepsi can only remain as my own.
I picked USPS (as did the vast majority of American Truckers based on the results).
Nothing personal against Pepsi... I prefer Coke (and would work for them in a heart beat if I wasn't already with Foodliner).

I would go with USPS. Like others say its easier, better benefits and all. Yes they are having financial problems but they won't go anywhere
pepsi is a good gig but at first is tiring work from what I've heard. As you build seniority you'll get easier runs and positions. Also soda company like that that is very popular will have job security -
We work the 3rd shift and we have to have drivers at the plant there ALL the time otherwise the plant shuts down because there is nowere to put the pallets that are comming out of the lines (they go strait into the trailers).
BTW, I'm not employed with Pepsi, Our company has a contract with them for us to haul it from the plant to the DC. We get paid $154 a day no matter how many loads or hours we work (schedule is 8hrs max). The Pepsi Drivers that come around the other side of the plant to pick some of the local product told me they start them at $51,000 a year, but they work 12 hour shifts, we on the other hand sometimes worl only 4 and still get paid the same.
