Hello I am not a driver but I work for a company in the logistics industry. I joined for personal reasons hoping to be able to seek help from those with experience.
My first question: In the intermodal industry, what is the correct spanish word for "chassis"? Is there a different word for "trailer"?
Any help would be appreciated. I don't trust google translate

Man, I've been in the states for too long to remember, but when I speak Spanish with the drivers they understand what the trailer is if you go by "trailer".
Now the terminology might change from country to country because of the dialects, but in South America a trailer is known as an "acoplado" (ah-co-plah-do).
Hope that helps!!FloTheWaitress Thanks this. -
Sorry, the only spanish I know is "Taco Bell".... just wanted to welcome you to TTR!

Since you tried, I'm going to give you a little Spanish secret: If you press "Atl" and then the numbers "164" you will magically see the letter "ñ" in your screen. , so you can type baño.
Now I only hope I don't get challenged like Bruce Lee for showing you the secrets of our culture...WV_Daddys_Girl Thanks this. -
No problem, sometimes the iPad does it automatically like niño.

I haven't made it to the iPad. In fact, I get one when I'm "on call" and I hate using it.
