Not all lease purchase programs are bad..... Well sorta. Dart has a reputation of allowing drivers to pay off their rigs BUT you will struggle like hell to do it.

I cut my teeth on lease purchase through Mayflower and I learned to stay away from em too! In other words I learned to drive through Mayflower but got burned on the truck. They got it back in better shape than they diid when they called themselves trying to sell it to me.
-
Here's an idea, How about those of us that got burned by these types of scams copy a bunch of fliers and put em rigt next to the same places where these rats lure drivers in.
Our stories told anonymously of corse would help those who are thinking about going down this path of destruction.

Yep,a truck will make more money being sold over and over than it will rolling down the highway.
-
Yup,,, Isnt that the sad truth!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Roblaw I herd today from Skyview that Breet does not work for Skyview anylonger ..
-
Yea but happens when the truck is given back in charred ruins?
-

it is amazing to me that those guys who are to lazy to run, aren't smart enough to fix anything themselves,(so they pay $100 + per hour to have their truck fixed) and can't manage thier money, blame it on the company who gave them a chance to be an OWNER/OPERATOR.....i can here them now....(and have seen it a milion times) "by god this is my truck and i ain't goin there".maybe if they would just take the loads given to them and keep thier mouth shut they would still be employed as an OWNER/OPERATOR instead of whining and crying about it .

Hmm. Although there a few lease purchase success stories, they are few and far between. There are just too many caveats with purchasing a truck through a trucking company. A lot of companies are just basically "sub leasing" a truck that money is owed on to a finance company, and not forwarding said payment from the lessee to the finance company. Like the old adage "you don't spit into the wind ,you don't mess with Leroy Brown, and you don't get your truck from the same place you get your loads". If one can't manage his own financing from a bank or other institution...run like hell.Real Deal Thanks this.
