Im at the yard in lancaster and safety just announced no trk can leave without a camera, except o/o...
Privy Thanks this. -
Had my dashcam installed. For the record let me state that FFE, it's affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, and/or service providers do not have permission to use my image, likeness, statements, comments, opinions, or utterances for training purposes or promotional material
-
Best of luck to ya. I went to the academy and loved the whole experience. The job doesn't pay much the first year. You gotta pay ur dues! Just be patient and work hard. Ffe has many successful drivers and many that aren't. The opportunity to succeed is there, its up to you.

the dashcam wouldnt bother me ,but i really dont like the idea of the one pointed at the driver i guess its not suppose to be on unless there is an event but who knows , i think theres going to be a couple of taped lenses lol , dash cam would be kinda neat if it can be streamed so the folks back home could watch --- what it probley is there going to try for a reality tv show lol the life and times of an ffe driver --- maybe they will program the tv at the yard so all you have to do is put in a truck # and it will come on
-
Taping the camera that faces the driver was my general thoughts, too. Wonder if that thing has audio. Lol
-
It does have audio and yes my inside camera stays covered up I have had 2 incidents already (hooking up to the trl) they have told me to uncover the lens and I dont, wont, ,cannot...
THE ROAD VIRUS Thanks this. -
The 1st time sqfety called me to tell me to uncover it.the 2nd time they sent a canned message makes me think alot of drivers are also covering them up..
-
that allmost invades your privacy lol i think i would cover it up . that way i wouldnt be tempted to flip them off
-
I uncover it when I bump the dock and hook up to a trl. I have a flap on a 5"piece of cardboard with velcro to keep it up when needed rest of the time I let it hang down..
