Advice for the trucking school students.....NOBODY LIKE TRUCKERS!

Today I listened to a lady spew that she thinks a business should not be allowed to have deliveries done at a certain time of the day because of kids leaving/going to school.

"No, I don't think we should stop a business from doing business, but they shouldn't be allowed to receive or ship things when kids are driving from school."

Huh?

"So I should have to park my truck for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon while school kids are going to and from school?

"No, but you shouldn't be allowed on the road to make deliveries when kids are driving to and from school."

I went to the hardware store instead of listening to her spew more foolish thoughts.

 

It's what you make of it. Get a local or dedicated gig.

All the folks I regularly associate with are glad to see me. I go out of my way to make them smile and make their work day a bit more enjoyable. In return they smile up a storm, and know my name, when I roll in!

almost went thru until somebody asked where are they all going to park??

That woman sounds like a complete idiot.

 

Wondering what political office she holds.
