if i were you i would be worrying about other things. for example did i learn enough in school about driving the truck to operate it in a safe manner? or should i stop by my doctor for some worry medication. when they give you the truck you are going to be driving (notice i did not say your truck) as long as it is road ready and safe to drive, get in it drive and hope you get by without any accidents, or road problems.

I've been out of orientation for almost two weeks. The truck I was assigned is an 09 Freightliner. It looks beat up on the outside but the inside is clean and it runs good. My only complaint is I had to add a gallon of oil on the 4th day of driving it.

Concentrate on the job at hand.
I am sure you are excited about getting in a truck.
I work with a company that has thousands of trucks. Just becasuse a truck is new or late model does not necessarly
make it better.
Some of these new trucks come with potential problems where as a truck that is a few years older may have no problems at all.
I am confident that Schneider will give you a truck that is as capable of doing its job as you are of doing yours.
Be safe and cautious. Get out and look situations over.
You are new to this job. If you last you will drive many, many trucks. -
Hey, crappy Freightliners? I bought an 06 with 591,000 miles and it runs very good. I bet i'll be driving down the road and you'll be in the dealer shop with EGR or regeneration problems on those newer trucks! and how's that def fluid when you can't find some!
