Can anyone tell me where to get power to activate a controller on a 2003 780? The brake light switch breaks the circuit when it is applied, unlike most trucks that close the circuit and give a live wire to activate the controller.

Check the ground wire first. If you ever have an electrical problem chase down the grounds. All of them. Takes a bit of time but fairly simple. 9/16" and sandpaper. But to directly answer your question, no, I do not.

On all volvo truck pressure switch is used to actuate brake light (wires run to LCM) and pedal switch is used for cruis control
