Yah it's at Delta. I'm a little frustrated with them, they have had the truck for over 24 hours and have not even looked at it yet. I am a cheap SOB so I am trying to tell myself it is ok for me to sit in a $70/night hotel, when they never even looked at my truck. I could have parked on the street and slept in truck. Ok breath 10, 9, 8, 7, 6...

You'll have plenty of time waiting around, that's for sure. And some of the places are pretty interesting.

I remember my first time at the Hershey plant. There was a 55 gallon drum of Hershey's miniatures that weren't shipped for holloween. You could help yourself on the way out, which I did.

Got halfway to my truck, and boy was that delicious! So I went back inside to ask some question and grabbed a couple more.

Pulled out of the dock and slammed my doors and had a craving for a few more of those miniatures so back inside I went. The gal in shipping just kind of laughed, because she knew exactly why I was coming back in!

Delivered at 3am in Columbus Ohio, then was to pick up a trailer at a tow yard in Orient OH. Get there, trailer isn't here yet, they have me disconnect and go park out front. Ask DM when the trailer will be in-- it's still 700 miles out!?

cant go anywhere, too far to walk for food, and no pizza place will deliver-- already ate one can of dinty more beef stew cold for lunch-- hoping I don't have to do it again for dinner. Polishing off my packs of gold fish right now. Figure my trailer will be here sometime in the morning.

The run has another pickup at 1315 at Washington Ct House and then it delivers in Johnsonville NY at 1830 on Wednesday. There has even NOTHING positive to say about this run right now.

Get on with your DM, Might be able to meet the other driver 200-300 miles (Meet him half way), or they may give you another load. It will mess up your 10, but you can drive to a store and get some food. As long as it's not too far (10-20mi) they wont say anything.

I'm just going to relax for the night and get the trailer in the morning. At this point I mines well and just wait.

Seeing as my Walmart appt isn't even till 1315 tomorrow I don't see a need of meetin part way. Let him come to me, after that its like a 25 minute drive to WMDC

Ive got some goldfish crackers I'm hoping will tide me over till tomorrow afternoon. ;)

it makes you wonder as much as they complain when i pass my fuel stops and request another one why they would want me to fill up on the way to my nestle pick up with 44,500 bunch of #######es. Aaron Stewart dont let that sitting waiting thing become a habit or you will just be your dm's #####, if i were in that situation when that trailer wasnt there i would of told my dm get me another load you have to keep the wheels rolling or you will be another statistic out there that didnt get enough miles, not being rude just a little advice

Last two days off! Getting a DOT inspection on my truck and starting to pack... Kind of mixed feelings this time out. The break was nice but more exhausting than driving, lol. Hope y'all are staying out of the snow.
