There is a good possibility to get hired on a logging company as a driver / loader and work your way up. It sounds a little extra work involved, but it may take that to get in the system. Satisfy your needs and finances however look at the possibilities as well. It getting started is the key. Hope you find something.

 

I might try Bakken shale oil play jobs, the best ones usually aren't advertised, you have to knock on doors call numbers on trucks, find the yard and bring them donuts with your contact info. Helps to have a professional appearance and positive upbeat demeanor.

 

There a fairly big company in klamath falls or that hauls glass there a good company they might hire you.stay away from may trucking salem or worked for them for a yr and I still dont know why the heck I did..

 

haha mattress monkey, i tried to lease to mays years ago , had a line truck when i was still in the brush hauling logs. Lol, they told me i would not be able to handle the backing and driving in the big city. Yet,i could bring 110,000 of logs down a 10% grade that looked like malaria germs...... I still start laughing everytime i see a mays truck on the road even now 30 years later
