You can do it. My wife is about to graduate with a bachelor's degree from University of Memphis. Did it all from the cab of a Peterbilt. Its not easy but can be done.

    huckstah and Reroll Thank this.

My wife did hers never stepping foot in a library. With internet and ebooks, you got it covered.

Wow! So not only can it be done, your wife has actually done it! Give her a big thumbs up for me and tell she has inspired another trucker to give it a shot!

    Chinatown Thanks this.

The only real problem we ever had was when a course had proctored (that might be spelled wrong) exams. We run a team truck all over the country and to be home at a specific time is hard to do sometimes.

    huckstah and Chinatown Thank this.

Your looking at the perfect opportunity to expand your horizons. Plus the life skills offered w/ OTR are priceless...

Close friend of mine decided to use his GI Bill and has found he just can't keep up with the classes and being OTR. Long days just takes it out of him trying to rest and do school work. All to the point that he's going back to working at the county come May. Gonna take a serious pay cut but have regular hours where he can commit to school. Said it's just too much workload.

Touro University Worldwide is a good one for online degrees.

This program is popular with military because of the lengthy deployments and remote loctions they find themselves.

My own plans include doing exactly this - as soon as my ADHD lands on what I'd like my degree to be in. I'm a new driver, and although this job is something I expect to enjoy, I know already that I don't plan to do it forever. It'll be nice to come out on the other end with a degree that can lead me to something else.
