    Yup. Really writing a novel.

The solitude and lack of distraction when the privacy curtain is closed makes it easy. My problem is I get so wrapped up in it, I lose track of time.

I set my alarm to ring to remind me when to stop writing and go to bed.

I'll make sure you read it.

    Hello There. :biggrin_25511:

Not too much to report except that I'm at our terminal in Laredo tonight.

This run I'm on originated in Mocksville, NC. I ran into a small glitch when the shipper refused to load me because of a water leak.

So I had a 24 hour delay getting loaded at the shipper. I ran real hard to get here by this afternoon but driving 1,468 miles in just a touch over 2 days is tall order when you can only go 65 mph.

I made it to the forwarder by 1700, but it was too late for a live unload. So I'll roll in early tomorrow, and with a little luck, I'll get moving back east sometime late morning. I have hometime scheduled a little early because I need to pick up my tractor registration for 2013 which was sent to my house.

    Need that decal.

    That's it for now.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hello There. :biggrin_25511:

Well, I'm still sitting in Laredo. Not for lack of freight, mind you. USX decided that it was unwise to let me loose with registration decals that expire in 2 days, so they had them sent overnight to Laredo. They arrived with FEDEX about 1000 this morning.

So now I'm waiting to get a load that gets me out of here and heading back east, and home to Georgia.

I did have a chance to catch up with vinsanity for a bit. He was here with his student getting ready to head back out. Nice to see you again, Vince.

On the up side, I got the truck washed, and bought pizza for dinner. :biggrin_255:

    Trips and Stats.

Miles for last week were only 1,764. That's all I could squeeze out with the truck being in the shop for 3 days. I did get lay-over pay for the down time.

    YES!!!!!

Just got a P/A. Laredo to Chattanooga, TN. Paid miles, 1099

    MEESSA GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for reading.

If you got out of the Northeast in less than three weeks that is a huge win. Solo's get trapped there all the time.

Well I run the Donnelley acct so I never go pass the Donnelley in York really and I usually run juz abt the same route.. The fear was that I wasn't going to make it up there but my FM brokered a load to get me up there and back to my reg route..
My recruiter told me that it wldnt be a problem getting to RI on the acct but sadly not the case.. :(

It was good running into you again. Glad you got your stickers finally.

My next student ended up going home sick so I'm just running solo now until I get back from home time next week. It's good to have some time to myself for a bit.
