    somthing like that...too many drop/lift axles only need one.

    Not that it is all dump trucks but I have seen a lot more Mack Granites throughout the city than I did even a year ago, for mixer trucks, crane trucks etc. The other popular choice is Western Star. As for dump trucks the majority are KW T800s that the fleets use. They are pulling either super Bs or quad wagons so they typically would not be using a 13L motor. As for the O/O most of them tend to use older trucks. A lot of petes and KWs.

    I have liked the MP8 so far in my trucks. If you are pulling lighter loads then it has more than enough power. I pull 140k with my trucks and I haven't had any issues. I know another owner who has bought two pinnacles for city dump work and the m-drive is much appreciated by his drivers as it is a lot less exhausting on them compared to a manual transmission.

    stay away from Maxxforce 13. I drove one and it blew out in 250,000 miles new.
