2011 Prostar alarm w/ key on

    When I turn the truck off but have the key on, lights and horn go off for about 3 minutes, anyone know whats going on with that?

    I jiggle the key a little and it turns off not sure what the purpose of it is .

    Sounds like the panic button is being pressed. Does this unit have remote keyless entry?

    No keyless entry, truck can be running and as soon as its turned off it goes off

    I haven't seen this in a Prostar, but I have with Work or Durastars if you shut off the engine without setting the parking brake. I'm not aware of an option for the park brake warning in a Prostar, but it is totally possible. When you set the parking brake do you get the red "Park Brake" warning light coming on in the cluster?

    I did check around with our tech support and without looking at the truck really couldn't up with anything. May be looking at a trip to the dealer.
