Nervous about this!! Drug question

Maybe not the drug test but the physical form asks if there are any prescribed medications and what they are .
Nowhere did the OP mention the physical anyway . Prehire and random drug tests will be a problem .

You'll need:

1. Permission from the company. (Most carriers won't allow narcotic use at anytime)
2. Written statement from the prescribing physician stating that the prescribed use won't cause a safety problem as the operator of a CMV. (Most docs won't write this)

When you pee hot the MRO from the lab or testing center will contact you, at which time you provide proof the RX is legit, and the statement from your prescribing physician. The MRO will declare the pee test negative despite being positive for opiates.

The only time this usually works is when you're an O/O and set company policy, or work for a small carrier.

I had a random drug test while on light duty and precribed Vicoden...was only taking them as needed and while off duty but took the bottle(had it with me) and showed them I had script and never heard a thing about it.
