myminpins i guess i never stayed that long to find out there policies. i look to see the forum sections and if a lot of people post, and i have only one other forum that i go to. this one and the other is far superior to any other i have found, and meet my needs.

this other forum-- i can pm the very first day. in fact in one thread they gave cell numbers. ( they are like family to each other- meet at truck stops-- meet off the job as well. even though rarely. )

brickman and burky i read as much of the rules as i could take:biggrin_25523: quite long. if i pm someone am i allowed to give them my email address?

We have no issues with you providing personal information in a pm. We simply want to have you not put that info out on the open forum where over 10,000 people will have access to it. if you are pm'ing someone, then at that point you have made a decision to allow that person to know your information and you become responsible for it. If you put it out in the open, and then start getting offers to your inbox for "male enhancement products" or someone starts cyberstalking you, then a problem exists that could have ben prevented.

Again, we aren't trying to make the rules restrictive, but we have found that some rules are needed to protect the majority of members.

Check your email. For some reason even I can't PM you.

I believe that since this is a return of a prior soul who departed the group, there are some restrictions on pm's that have been put in place. It will take time and behavior to get the restrictions lifted.

Got to drive all day today. Currently at a Love's truck stop near Rockford, IL. The Pilot and Love showers I have experienced so far have been nicer than the shower I have at home. Tiled, large, well lit and clean, plenty of hot water.
Tomorrow we are off to Minnesota to drop off our load. After that, who knows.
Roehl has a shutdown policy for 8 PM 12/31 until 6 AM 1/1 for safety.
Having fun. Learning something new everyday.
Talked to dcodd, cmoore, rodney and joe so far.
    respects,

I haul a 53 foot trailer with stuff in it.
I find my way to my destination similar to as in a car. They give us directions, but we can alter them.
I am having fun and getting paid.

glad your enjoying it and having fun. once the fun goes away it is too much like a job. 17 years and i still have fun every day out there. sometimes more than others.
