I've learned a few things from several years of commuting on I-95 in North Carolina. One thing I've learned is that just because something is a stereotype doesn't mean it isn't generally true. Crazy New Jersey drivers, for instance.
This evening's commute inspired me to do a google search for "jersey drivers bad." This website says it all: "You might be a New Jersey driver if...". http://www.youmightbe.com/pages/new_jersey_driver.html
My favorite is "Just because you're in the left lane and have no room to speed up or move over doesn't mean that a New Jersey driver Flashing his high beams behind you doesn't think he can go faster in your spot.". So true, and also so sad.
If you happen to be a good driver from Jersey, my apologies. As for the rest of youse, own it. If it makes youse feel any better, the ones from New York aren't much better.
Bee cool.

NJ ain't got nothin' on Rhode Island for bad drivers. Ever heard of a Rhode Island left? That's where you just turn left, and any other traffic be ######! I lived there three months and avoided countless accidents only because I was alert to what the idiots around me were doing.

I don't think we are that bad. This is how we drive. In NJ we get around just fine! We have our way of doing things and for us for the most part it works. In NJ, you got to go with the flow. Just like everywhere else, except WE MEAN IT!!!!! Lol
lowjo Thanks this. -
you really got to love this drivers. Girls usually drive with the left foot on the dash no panties on becoming a danger not only for themselves, but any truck driver next to them.
However i think here is more of an age thing, drivers here usually become calmer after they turn 70 -
Ay yo,,,, fugedabout it!
(somebody had to) -
I had a guy in a pickup do that to me, tailgated the hell out of me even though I was going 70 in the fast lane, getting by traffic to pull aside. Well, it pissed me off enough that I paced the guy on the right and just slowed the pickup right down. And for every car that merged in front of us into the fast lane, I gave him a thumbs up, lmao.
