Anyone saying H/break is a good company is probably an office brown noser or just plain full of it,ask some drivers is the best way to find out but not on a forum you don't really know who your talking to.They make it look impressive with higher cpm pay but they pay nothing else, you even pay for scale charge out of your pocket unless you take the time to make out a comcheck which costs you time especially when you can't ever get someone on the phone.

Heartland runs electrolux or did. I considered going there (if i could get ded electrolux from iowa to sc i would i na heartbeat). I know a few drivers who have said they pay the miles and have nice trucks but you get ZIP for miles. So basically if you were homeless heartland woudl be awesome i guess.

even at 48cpm, 2200mi is a LOT of sitting, to be away from home

if i am going to sit, i want to sit in my living room, not at a truckstop a thousand miles from home.

when i am out, i want to be making money, not sitting

    cdreid and bigblue19 Thank this.

you know, I make good money at Heartland. couple of these comments that talking about no miles or sitting and all that... it comes down to one thing. The average Heartland driver made $57k last year, on up to $77k. If you are making more than this, or can make more than that right now, then all the power to you, you can say whatever you want and go whereever you want and run all the miles you want. But if you aren't making that much, then you have no room to talk about no miles or sitting at Heartland Express. It's as simple as that. Some people can't see the forest through the trees.

    cdreid Thanks this.

How would you know what the average driver makes, you can only go by the ######## you read & most of the time its them blowing smoke up our #####.Anyone with half a brain can sit down & figure out what it is but how can you when you don't know what runs you'll get or how long your sitting at docks or in traffic or bad weather....get your head out of your you know what.

Badabing, u sound like the average full of poop driver out there, I highly doubt that the people are just trying to brown nose on here, I think u are one of those lazy drivers that dont know how to plan ur trips and the company knows it. This is why u get no miles. I have learned this about a lot of companies. If they cant count on you, then u will not get any miles. U complain when things go bad and complain when they go well. This is trucking and ive heard enough of people like u to know theres more to your story, so quit complaining and go find another career....

At 500 miles over two days, seems like you should have plenty of time...
