It will be asked in the interview. Don't sweat about it. So long as you're honest and the answer isn't last week you'll be fine.

Is there no one capable of unloading a truck with out holding me for 5+ hours? I'm 7.5 hours in at meijer in Lansing, mi. Now my next load is pressed tight and I won't have time for life's little luxuries like clean clothes and hot food. It's gotten so much worse in the past 2 weeks than I have ever experienced before; detained at every stop.

Very few that I've come across have stuck to the two hour mark... Now that we are on a dedicated, we don't even get detention... But it's only been at the most six hours total for load/unload past our appointment times... And with no dead head miles, so we'll take it. I feel for you though, this flash back to OTR has made us appreciate our loop, no matter HOW boring it can get ;)

I don't get detention until 3 hours, and I'm having trouble even getting that. I was on a loop that had 6 drop/hooks and 2 live for quite a while, so I'm not used to this anymore. Even the live appointments would usually get me out 2-3 hrs after my appointment. There's something just wrong about a 250 mile load that takes 8 hours to get unloaded. Did I mention I'm out of food?

I have that truck, as long as there isn't a line for the washout.

P4P did you see they are bring 15 more trucks on Kraft. I don't know about you, but I have been scrimping by on kraft loads. Although it must be picking up, I'm preset for a week.

Also have you or anyone else tried fast wax1? When I was sitting for a load yesterday they were selling it out in front of the am/pm in stockton. They said a can would wash my truck 2-3 times. Lets say I have not washed my truck in about 6 months and the can worked great, except that I could only reach about 7 feet up, so I have a line of dirty unwaxed truck. 2 cans for $25 sure beats $45 for a BB wash. There are a few streaks, but I think that was more opperator error than a problem with the product.

I remember when most Hershey's facilities handed out candy. I used to love to pick up in Ogden, because they'd load us down each with a candy bar, and a handful of whatever individually wrapped stuff they had on hand. It was great.

A friend of mine knew of a place up in the north east, I don't remember if it was in Maine or Connecticut, but we hauled out chocolate chips. And in their office they had 3 bins of chips: white, milk, and dark. If you had containers, you could fill them up. My friend used to keep 3 big tupperware containers for visits up there, and he'd bring the chips home to the family to bake with.

I saw the fleet wide today. I laughed. The few Kraft dedicated guys I've talked to lately have been talking about lack of miles. Maybe they're securing a new contract like they did in Portland, and freight will be picking up.

Last week we saw 9 loads out of Kraft in Portland in one day. The other local and I were scrambling to find enough trailers.
