Have worked here for awhile, seen many come and go. They treat you nice for a couple weeks then they give you low paying loads. They can be nice at first and the pay is great starting out. Then goes downhill, most of the people are nice. But the owner and family they have working there act very unprofessional. And treat the workers the same. But one thing is for sure there company drivers mean everything to them and they treat all of there owner operators very badly. Especially if another driver happens to do something wrong and try to blame you. They believe everything the company drivers say or do. Just not a good company to work for.

    Minnesota Nice Thanks this.

Does'nt sound all that bad if they treat their company drivers good.Yes they should treat all drivers equal. But there's not too many companies that actually value their company drivers.

Worked for Perron Trucking in Campbellsport for 15 years. I've also seen drivers come & go. I can agree that the Owner Operators are not treated exactly like Company drivers, but I will also say they shouldn't be.....they are leased driver's who have their own business and there has to be some seperation between company & owner operator. I will say they are treated a lot better than at other companies. They are included in all the Safety programs/bonuses, holiday parties, & all driver meetings. Owner operators are paid 100% of fuel surcharge and detention. For the past 15 years I've seen the owner's of Perron Trucking try to do whatever they can to make things easier on ALL their drivers. There has always been an open door policy for ALL drivers. May not always agree, but it's ok to agree to disagree. I'm sorry someone may not like Perron Trucking, but I would hope anyone reading these would understand that some people/places are not a good fit. I hope flame01 is happy wherever they are.

I don't know why you would tell drivers not to work at Perron Trucking, I have been here four years with my own truck and trailer and have done very well. Is it perfect, no. But it's as close to trucking utopia that I have dealt with in my career, I haven't been treated any differently from a company driver, but I'm pretty easy to get along with. There are two sides to every story, and I am giving my side. If you don't mind working you can make some #### good money here.

Ike isn't a very truthful guy. I applied there last november. He was very vague in answering questions.
told me .44 cents a mile
when asked about benefits and questions about them...He said he didnt know and would get back to me.

When i was shopping around and other offers came up, I told him that he was competing for my services with other competitors, And when really pushed for answers, The truth really started to come out reluctantly from Ike.

His ".44" cents a mile actually was PERCENTAGE that "Equalled out to around that much" per Ike

When i busted him in his deception, i didnt bother to find out about the rest of the lies.
He had a hard time calling back through out all this too.
