Finally some warm weather...Florence, AZ for the weekend.

I recommend the drive through the Salt River Canyon (US60 in AZ)...beautiful country, fun drive, gave the engine brake a workout though. Going back that same way Monday...hope I have time to stop and take a few pics then, didn't have time today.

Just because you missed a previous weekend dont expect a extra long weekend the following week unless you have a request in. Rarely does that happen although its nice when it does.

 

Many times on.detention it.is the shipper or receiver who.denies.it. i have had that but maverick has paid.it to me anyway.

 

My favorite drive was thru the Grand Tetons coming out of BC into Idaho. Very pretty.

I didn't miss anything. I'm glass, we are required to run a minimum of 2 weeks at a time with 2 days of time off in between. We get 1 day off for every week we are out. At most we can get up to 4-5 days off if we run for a month or more which I will likely be doing at some point this summer. When I talked to the recruiter and also when meeting my FM I was told 1 day for every week. That's why I was a little upset that I'm only going to be home for 1 day. I can deal with it, just not what I wanted.

Finally got home at 1500 today. Not leaving until Monday at 0600 for Delivery in Wausau, WI.
