Nervousness or Fear can be a fantastic motivator. Keeps you on your toes. Maybe you could consider your nervousness a GOOD THING. And BTW, it is a common feeling when heading off to NLR for the first time with this whole experience upon you. Pay close attention, take outstanding notes (you WILL NEED THEM LATER!), be an upstanding citizen while you are in NLR (and I MEAN THAT!), and STAY OFF THEIR GRASS!

    Zerb Thanks this.

There's definitely some excited nervousness in there. Once I get settled in I'm sure I'll be much calmer. I've always respected others lawns I was raised to do so, please see Walt from Gran Torino as a reference for my father haha. Thanks for all the heads up and advice everyone on here has provided me with. The plane is about to take off, I will keep all of you updated on my journey.

I was shocked to see all the tire tracks on the grass leaving the yard this week. Really sad! If you can not make that turn you should not be driving......Got 10 minutes and I will be rolling.

Aerobic---- While waiting for a load, walk laps around your truck and trailer. Met a maverick driver that had lost over 45 lbs doing this and could tell me within his arms reach away from the truck, how many times around it was a mile. Anaerobic-- weightlifting using equipment on the truck ie- Curls--one armed--- chain. two armed-- beveled boards and work your way up to steel tarps (4foot drops) etc. and knowing your interested in the flatbed division.....THINK of similar weightlifting exercises using anything aboard the truck available as weights to complete them.

    Razororange and MtDewMan Thank this.
