Family dollar acct

I would say that depends on the company you work for.

it may benefit you by giving a work out every day, I guess.lol

 

Those dollar accounts have potential to make money the thing you have to factor in is how fast you can move. And also always try to make it to your account before you take your 10 because you can always offload the trailer and lie on your elogs and say your in the sleeper birth so you will always have hours to run lol

 

How good are you at backing and avoiding obstacles? Think about the average size of a Family Dollar store lot and work out how to get a 53' van in most of them.
Personally I would pass up on it unless you have the experience to deal with that and the number of little dings you will likely get on your driving record trying to maneuver around tight parking lots.

Like the last guy said : look at the size of area you have to work with at almost any Family Dollar store ? Seems it would be a constant battle of wits to get a 53 foot trailer into them safely ! If it was offered to me , I would say "No thank you " !!

 

Lol...i hv been on family dollar acc,,for 6+ mnts ,,with ,,us xpress...1 st...the $$...5,,,6,,,700.00 a wk..net!!!! If u here different..its bs!!!! Im fast !!! Run very hard......this account sucks!!!! Reasons...stores are very slow...trailers are loaded like sh**!!...mnmt needs a clue!!!! A veteren driver told me this if it was a good account more vets would be doing it...wow..rt on ...you might get home 34 hrs...a wk.....end....saturday,am leave sunday night....they flooded account wirh new drivers...so $$ went way down....look.....i hv tryed and tryed to stay..but there is no $$ here..not to unload 35000## a trailer...im in great shape...thats it...ohhh and yes..backing up a 53 ft trailer with a super sleeper cab is a bigg chalange...so im in shape,,i can back up reallly good..but other then that...its all bs......tym to go......hope this true true statement helps you out..need to know anything else just ask...((((ashley indiana)))

 

I'd pass. Guy on YouTube used to do a Family Dollar account gig with Werner. Had to hand unload ALL stores! Now that's a lot of boxes of doody paper and washing detergent. Your back will hurt at the end of the day I'm sure. Those dollar stores are 95% of the time in tight places. There's a family dollar here and I honestly don't know how they get in there with a truck and trailer.

my uncle did that account for werner, made almost a grand a week, and lost a ton of weight. hand unload every box and getting slowed up by the people at the store, the tight backing, etc... he stayed on that account for 6 months and left werner cause they didnt want to take him off the account so he went elsewhere for work. but he said if you are not in shape dont even try it. they will try and keep you on it once you say you want to leave it.
