I wonder if anyone else has hade this problem? This just started this winter. When the temp. is below about 45 degrees outside , my cruise control and Jake brake don't work correctly . The cruise cuts off , and the jake is intermittent . Seems to go away when it warms up outside.
I replaced the Throttle Position Sensor , and the on/off switch for the cruise control , no difference .
    Truly puzzled !

Clutch pedal switch needs adjusted or spring is getting weak.

Had similar problem in the past , found some damaged wires in a plug for the wiring harness , COLD weather make things contract and not get continuity.

I just had a buncha work done. Mainly the jakes. The wiring harness was jacked up. Had them replace it.
When you try to use the jake does it work, then acts like stage one? Then a engine light will come on?

That's what I thought. When I described what it was doing , KW parts man shook his head , said it Was probably the accelerator position sensor. Turned out it wasn't . I'll get the clutch pedal switch tomorrow , I guess . I've already Looked at it , it's not loose.

no. It comes on , stops , then starts again. The cruise cuts out , usually when there's no load on the engine , like coming down a small rise , but not coming down fast enough for the Jake to come on. Then after a second or two , the Jake kicks in , like you've touched the brake.

Your switch is probably fine just bend the arm a little.
