Training is 120 to 150 behind the wheel hours. That translates to two and a half to three weeks. Which one depends on your location, which should be in your profile in order to make it easier to answer questions specific to you. After upgrading they should get you home in a week or so.

After training you may be required to team (again depending on your home location) for 8 weeks. After that you will get your own truck.

Contrary to what pattyj said they do have plenty of solo miles. They keep me running constantly. Right now I'm recapping hours. I can't wait to get home and take a break.

You do not get the deposit back. It is a non-refundable deposit. They also charge $10 a week for your pet.

500 non refundable deposit AND 10 bucks a week? Really? Do you know of any other companies that have a better policy? That is insane. Thx for the info though

Thanks but Holland seems to be a tough company to get on with?

I drive for USX, just got to solo stage,i spent 3 weeks with a trainer, then had mandatory 8 weeks teaming. I also have a dog, but as of Jan 1, 2013, policy changed on pets, u must complete the 8 weeks prior to getting dof on truck, kinda like the probation period thing for them, good luck !

Wow 8 weeks teaming AFTER your 3 weeks training? That's crazy. Now you have to drive 8 more weeks solo before you can have your dog? Is it also true that the 500 deposit is non-refundable? Kinda takes away the idea of "deposit' huh? Congrats on finishing your training and best of luck to you

They're not tough to get on with, but small. So if they don't have an open truck, they don't fill it. Not like some of these companies that hire guys even though they don't have trucks available. We had to try a few times.

If it makes you feel better, my last company R&R Trans. charges a non-refundable $300 A MONTH! For pets/passengers!

The are very few companies that allow pets AND hire new drivers. The $500 is truely non-refundable and they do charge $10 a week.
