I'll put this out....
And people are gonna go "Huh?"
AOJP.

Can you meet all 4 conditions if you decide to use deadly force?
Because preclusion will trip up most peoples use of deadly force in a self-defense situation. -

you never read it did you.
Because what you describe will get you convicted of manslaughter charges. -
i read some of it..... My point is would you rather be dead or seriously injured and legal or alive and well with a possible manslaughter charge.... Also there is the stand your ground law and the castle doctrine to consider in a given situation and state..... I actually saved it to my favorites to finish reading later more in depth.... -
I might be on fire but I knocked him out. Oops there went the truck too! -
Lol, i think we all got a little off track in this thread... Its not how or what you do to protect yourselves out there. But what do you have to protect yourself with..... Thats my read anyway
feel free to correct me if i am wrong ,
but the question is " with all the danger out there do you guys keep anything to protect yourselves?"
my answer: Ya i do have a couple options i have in the cab with me at all time.... And sometimes in behind my belt when i am not in the truck.... -
With all the difference in states on "castle doctrine" and "stand your ground", you will get yourself into major trouble quickly. I don't even TRY to keep them all straight.

I refer people to that regularly and tell them to STILL go to the specific states in question when they ask me for gun law questions.
MN is a prime example. They have reversals of reversals of self-defense decisions where it's legal and then not legal to defend yourself even in your own house.
I totally understand what it is you are saying.
I am also a permit to carry instructor for MN and I look at things from a different perspective. Especially with my MP background.
There are soo many things a person can / should do before deadly force.
The way you carry your keys, where you go, how you carry yourself etc.
Have you taken any self-defense classes? All kinds of things.
Even realizing a bad situation like when some joker comes up to your truck and says, "hey, there's some guy giving away $100 bills in the next aisle over."...
It screams red flags and danger. -
You know the old saying better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.....I would take that chance..
