I didn't realize Eagle did chemicals. I thought they were all gas and diesel.
-
It is a new thing. Friends that work in Nashville told me they just got some insulated tanks for some day cab chemical runs.

they use a high deductible ins. company, so unless the bill is a certain amount eagle transport actually pays the bill. what i meant by bias was certain people usually office and management medical bills are paid at a much higher rate. Im not bashing eagle because they treated me bad, because they did'nt. I believe in everyone being treated the same, fairly . If you arent or cant do the job u should get fired, the people that are doing the job should all be treated the same, and they don't. I worked for two other gas hauler before i got out of it completely, and neither one operated in the manner that eagle did. a good gas hauler should be paid very well, and taken care of. gas haulin is not for everyone. eagle, im sure has one of the highest turn over rates in the industry. like i said before their ok to go and get some experience, but after that do yourself a favor and research some other companies. as far as the trucks they used to lease what they are doing now i have no idea.

It's kind of new. Kingsport been hauling chemicals little over a year, Nashville and Chattanooga just starting too

Chattanooga was going to be 3 trips towards Houston area a week. Paid $1400 and you didn't have to touch the hoses loading and unloading. Sounded like you get a 34 and back to the grind.

i posted here about a year ago about the eagle terminal in Taft fl (Orlando) and it has only gotten worse. The TM Rob George is the son of the co president and feels he can do whatever he wants and if you question him he has his dispatch give you local loads that will pay you about $135.00 for a 13 hour day. They tell you the computer says the run takes X amount of hours but don't seem to count loading or unloading so some guys are running over their 14 hours out of fear. the head dispatch Hoot will tell you that the good loads go to his good drivers and the rest of us get the garbage loads. It also seems that the black and Hispanic drivers are getting the shaft so some of us have been in contact with a NYC law firm to prepare an class action law suit under the guide of the U.S. Dept of Labor wage and hour regulations and also a discrimination lawsuit under the civil rights commission which will include all similarly affected current and former employees.most of the guys were smart enough to take pictures of the screen on the hand held and now with the qualcomm we feel we are building a strong case on both fronts and the good part is that it will cover all terminals. So write things down CYA and think if you really want to work for this company. Also if you get hurt on the job they make you work in the shop for $11.00 an hour but if you are out over 90 days they terminate you.

If I was going to sue them I wouldn't be tipping my hand here.
I thought the elctronic logs eliminated HOS problems? -
My reason for this post is to reach out to current and former drivers at Eagle who have experienced any form of discrimination in pay, waiting time not paid, lunch hour being denied, loads missing in your pay, vacation pay not being paid when you leave employment or any issue you feel that you were treated differently than other drivers with experience comparable to yours. You can contact me through this forum. This is in anticipation to preparation to a class Acton lawsuits against Eagle Transport.

Is Daniel still the TM in Nashville?
