hmm, this is interesting, i work for Melton and have heard nothing of this nor seen it on any of our trucks. When i did come here i was surprised to see we didnt have vorad or anything on any of the equipment either, as safety consious a company it is. I use to have vorad front and side collision detection on the truck i drove for another company and while it was very irritating to listen to it beep all day when cars got close to u after a few years i got use to it. I did hear other drivers tell me how it saved their lives though by helping them avoid accidents in bad weather as the vorad radar can see through fog/rain/dust/etc for cars that are slow or stopped on the motorway so i thought that was cool. but other than that like i said i hated its beeping all day when it detects close cars lol.

We have this on our trucks, but it beeps. The sun reflects off of the lines and sometimes trips it even if you don't cross the line.
