We cant afford to wait 30 days and I am sure they will drah it out.

 

Hate to tell you this, but LS will make sure all the I's are dotted and T's are crossed, before accepting anyone. They are not a quick sign on and never have been. You should have checked into that, before quitting your last lease, or had the funds available to wait. That is just the way it is.

 

We were told everything was good to go. We have $$ to wait, but since we are involved in a court case with this company for not paying us, I will be suprised if they ever respond... They didnt follow the law to pay us, never return calls, didnt respond to a demand letter from our lawyer for pmt or a demsnd letter to show up in court. I will be suprised if they ever answer. I told all this to the processor, we signef a paper shr sent to confirm the employment, she said that would be fine. If she told us she would need it from them, we wouldnt havr gone to orientation until they got it. Financially, we.could have waited, but I am not waiting for something I dont think they will ever get when our last company treated us good and wants us back. Only reason we were going to chg is they cut rates. We can survive on their rates, so we are going back. Maybe someday ls will get the verification and if we find we arent doing very well, we might chg.

 

I thought they had 30 days before they were considered in non-compliance.

 

You will be ok.There is life after Landstar..Go make some money and meanwhile wait to see if Landstar recieves the employment verifacation.

 

Thats the plan.... With fsc our current company pays $1.67 per mile anf $1 for mty miles... We s/b ok for awhile... Other then pay cut, Express1 is a good company to work for... They treat u very well!!

 

That's what i would do...Good for you for not letting Landstar process stop you from doing what you have to do..Landstar process is stupid and sucks the big one...

 

have to agre the paper work is a pain in the butt! Took me 3 months to get in here, but now im here to stay.
But you have to admit the paperwork is a long process that is tough and eliminated those that are bad and those that dont really want to be here! there are a few good people who either get frustrated and walk away and those that just get caught up in the paperwork Jungle. ( thats what happened to me)
