That sucks. Only way I really made money there was because of the great miles. 3000+ was easily attainable.

There's alot about risinger that hasnt been told yet. I drove for them for 13 months and the first 5 months were wonderful. I started with a 07 mid roof volvo and was avg about 3300-3700 mi a week and getting by my house once through the week and every other weekend. In Mississippi. Because of the frequent home time, I didnt have to request to be home at all, but when i did i never got home when i needed to or if i did, they would cut my miles tremendously <1100 for that week. When questioned why my miles where cut, they said that they didnt have anything to get me home when there was an IP 65 miles from my home and numerous runs that i could go by my house with that p/u on a friday and delv on a mon that was with in four drive p/u from my house. Everything really went south for me when I transferred to the platinum purchase plan with the new '13 volvos. After doing the math with them and with the better fuel mileage, I calculated that at the least average of 3000 mi/wk i could still bring home a $1200 check a week with the increase truck note (400 to 600) weekly and decreased escrow. But, that only worked for the first three weeks or so. Afterwards, my mi decrease to only a avg of 2100 mi a week and that was with a constant begging of more miles.
The pre-planning. The preplanning was ridiculous. I never got no more than 1 trip every other day. When I first started they preplanned me out for the whole week and I showed them that I was able to run and manage my loads and deliver them in a timely manner, actually before time.
The company as a whole was a pretty good company when i first started then quickly went to crap. To put it bluntly, the left hand dont know what the right hand is doing. No one works with another even the dispatchers whose board you are on. It's as if everyone is trying to out do each other instead of working together.Kevin horn Thanks this. -
