    Almost 7 hrs behind the wheel today.. They day started early for us.. Well, more early for my instructor. I feel I have #### good instructor. It ashame his student still sucks at downshifting.. Seriously, my shifting started out rough today. However, the last 50 miles it was starting to click..

    i truley believe I am over thinking it, and pressing to far in on the clutch. It's coming along I hope!

    That is normally what happens, only press in the clutch maybe 3 inchs. Sounds like you are getting it. As instructors we don't expect the students to be pro's at downshifting, It takes time to get it all to click.

    Another decent day. Not perfect by no means but, getting better. Up here in Wisconsin picking up in the morning and headed to VA by Tuesday...

    I have to say I love this training method.. I couldn't imagine learning to drive in a parking lot for 4 weeks... Now, it can be stressful at times . Howeve, this method teaches u how to drive in the real world.

    I just wanted to say thanks for all of the updates. I've been reading up on here and watching a lot of videos, especially on double clutching and backing methods and studying up for my test. I'm heading down to Prime for my orientation next month and I can't wait! I'm trying to do my best to study and be as prepared as possible, and reading up on your training and experiences is awesome.
