Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Wife and I are at the Holiday Inn at Joplin...truck is in for some PM work. Shop is busy so it may take a couple days...we dont mind, time to relax a bit.

 

I would think It would be better to have a vehicle at the yard so you can go home when they are doing Maintenance on the truck and get two things done at once. But they would probably let you take it home

 

Do they pay for you to stay at the Holiday Inn ?

 

well my wheels...finally stopped rolling. ran my 14 out at Yuma AZ....68 mi short of Calexico ca

been here since noon and was #6....now #2.....under 2500 mi....this week but atleast i got 4 extra stops and a layover pay

 

tomarjr would love to leave the truck at the yard but only have one vehicle. Wife needs it so she can go to work and take son back and forth to school and baby sitter. I was wondering remember my grand pa taking his truck home for hometime, was just checking in case they changed some things. Believe i will be in orientation around 3 weeks have to take care of some things first and give my recent company at least 2 weeks notice, I hope this company is nothing like crete carrier im sure its not.

 

but i figure if truck was broke down and it was going to be 4 or 5 days i will just have the wife pick me up and come back when it was ready to go

 

Im really not sure. I dont work there yet just getting ready to start the school then will be going to work there directly after. But from all the guys there that I Have talked to they are good about working with you!

Tomarjr if the truck has to be in the shop overnite they will pay for your room at the Holiday. Also Newbie your home distance from Joplin makes no differance...when you put in for home time you take the truck home. As long as you have a safe place to park it and Conway approves it.
