At Central you wait until you have an idea of how long you're going to be delayed, then you have to submit a macro 53 for the correct amount according to the delay. 1-12 hours later, random payroll person says they sent it to so and so for approval, a week or two later it gets approved and should be on your next statement... Have fun! Lol

 

i dont want to be an ### frost but i dont know what kinda of deal you have with you dm and about detention pay if you stay on top of it, it will usually come through #### happens sometimes just stay on top of it. I know sometimes you wait for loads if your not preloaded but if you know when your going to be there mac 1 let them know not the same day the day before the day before and every morning till your unloaded. I keep up with my dm and for detention stay on top of it i sit rarely but it happens stay positive the more they here from you the more your in there head. As long as you havent had any lates for no reason they know you can do it for them

 

Detention is not the same as layover. None of your advice deals with preventing or being paid for detention.

 

I wasnt trying to give advice and where does it say layover. The question was about detention i was just trying to see in frost adventures why everything is usually negative.

I don't like the way my posts sound now, lol. I went through a rough patch and I'm not quite out of the woods. But I love what I do. The rest will work itself out.

 

Arkansas, I have to tell you that you have a great outlook on things and a good attitude about things, despite the tough times you have mentioned that your going through. I of course don't know you and only know what you have said on TTR, but keep your head up and that positive attitude and prayer will get you through it and will go a long way! Keep the posts coming. What is Central's policy on CPAP machines? If you have sleep test results are you OK?

 

To my knowledge central isn't doing anything with the whole sleep test thing yet. I do know however that there are lots of drivers here with Cpap machines. The last student I had had sleep apnea so bad I thought he was dieing on me between snores but he had no trouble getting hired or upgrading. He did promise me though that he'd get that problem fixed. My god his snoring was louder than the reefers and idling trucks around us. LoL
