Hey SEDAIN!!!, I have 4 months OTR ,eXP, and its been exactly one year ago, since then I have been doing a local job driving straight trucks, i'm wanting to get back on the road, I don't have many options, us xpress, super service or back to my old job at star, hoping you could help me make a Decion, i'm thinking super service, can you give me some solid info, home time, miles per week, insurance and ect, anything you may no could help me out,,, thanks

it depends on alot of things..where are you located? i wouldnt go to any company where i had to drive a significant distance to and from the terminal to get to work.. hometime depends on which portion of the company that you go to but the otr segment is out two weeks home for the weekend although i do know of drivers that are home every weekend and on a regional type gig.
miles per week is pretty avg 2300-2500 should be expected although it can be more, alot of it depends on how you run and how much hometime you take.
insurance is decent, i have the higher cost option medical dental/eye coverage and i pay 72$ per week for that, allstate crit care for short term disability for 8.95 per week(optional) and also the 4.60 allstate crit carecoverage in addition which pays out if you have something that stops you from driving like end stage kidney issues, cancer etc etc..
personally im doing pretty well because im on a dedicated account so im home every weekend for about 68 hrs (double the amount of time most home on the weekend drivers get at other companies that offer weekly hometime) and i have the same mileage every week (2656 paid mileage) +200$ for stop pay. roughly 52k in total pay.
theyre working on sales which is good because the accounts we have as a company greatly effects things like miles per week, hometime and dedicated accounts as well as general profitability of the company as a whole.
the turnover is high due to alot of different factors to be honest but if you are an ameri-can- i think you can do well here. -
I'm American, I live in middlesboro KY, I really like making money and getting Good miles, but I also like bring home for the weekends
