tomarjr -- that would definitely be ideal. I would even settle for an international dealer within 60 miles of my home...
I'm in Morris, IL getting a PM done at the TA. Just learned that those cool little vacuum gauges on the air filter assembly are not reliable indicators of filter life -- mine was reading as if the filter was new, but it came out looking like I'd just run the baja1000.
Hope to get a load out early tomorrow; the evening forecast looks ominous.NotTheAverageTrucker Thanks this. -
WTF! The Sonic is closed in Calexico!

In Joplin, truck is in the shop. Developed a coolant leak after getting assigned a load from NY to Joplin. LoL

Back at TA in morris, IL getting at least 1 tire after picking up this sorely neglected trailer in new lenox & having the abs system fixed in hodgkins. I've been occupied for 8 hours and have maybe 80 paid miles to show for it.
I'm sure it isn't anyone on TTR, but I'm getting a little peeved at my fellow drivers for leaving equipment in this condition. Of the ~10 trailers I've touched this week, 8 have had csa infractions readily apparent. And my stomach churns upon receipt of the following message: "cfi recommends mt trailer ##### because it has been in the pool the longest" -- you're guaranteed a detour to a shop to obliterate what little remains of your 14 after getting the trailer roadworthy enough for just that modest journey.
Add in the downtime for the tractor & I'm amazed anything gets done.
...obviously failing miserably at trying to stay positive...Last edited: Mar 12, 2013
