Anyone have any info on Oakley out of Florida? Are they a good outfit to run for? I am thinking about parking my truck and running a company truck. I now run Electronics and does not pay as well as it used too. Figure i can make same money running company equipment or close to it. Any one running for Oakley food grade tankers answer my questions?
Anyone familiar with Oakley Transport?

Are you running for Oakley? If so i like to talk to you and get some info.

so far so good, when i have trk problems its attended to right away (a first for me in the industry). tankers are alot easier to deal with (especially shipping/recieving). if you are willing to stay out you should do alright.

I was hospitalized with pneumonia after they ran me in a truck with no air conditioning for 3 days in 100 degree weather. when released from hospital they terminated me. Then kept. my final paycheck -which was @ $700.00 takehome pay-also they did not reimberse me for the fittings which cost me $500.00. Which of course stayed with the truck. They did not allow me to get any of my belongings out of the truck. Now-Are you sure you want to work for Oakley Transport? They do this to everyone not just me.

I worked for Oakley Transport for 1 yr. 6 mo. -made all my deliveries ontime. After they ran me in a truck with no air conditioning for 3 days in 100 degree weather I was hospitilized with pnuemonia. When released from the hospital they terminated my employment and refused to pay me for my final week. Also they kept my fittings - which I paid $500.00 for and did not allow me to get any of my other things out of the truck ie. CB,XM radio, clothing ,etc. I strongly advise anyone to avoid working for Oakley Transport. They have a long list of lawsuits against them and if you go to work for them you can expect to be treated the same way. So my advice to you is not to make the same mistake as I did and find another driving carreer other tan Oakley Transport.
