Doesn't seem to matter anymore, what customer service reps your talking to or trying to contact. Usual response seems to be .... none at all. Oh wait, forgot about the automated "we received" blah blah, will be contacted blah blah blah!!!!

    mje and VisionLogistics Thank this.

Wow. Does anyone else envision a wild Tiger jumping across the counter if this story is true? Sorry to the OP, but you shouldn't be treated like that.

Been thinking about trying to contact TA after this week . Have spent 15 hours getting tires put on 3 trailers so far this week. Total of 4 tires on the 3 trailers . Unreal.

It's true. I even suggested to the manager that he pull the audio/video tape and verify the incident. He looked totally uninterested.

    mje Thanks this.

When I drove for Pepsi, I had a Ford Contour. One day while I was driving down the road, I came a little too close to an orange barrel in a construction zone and ripped off my driver mirror. I went to the Ford dealership in town and ordered another one. The gentleman who filled out my order was pretty nice. After he filled out the order form, he told me it would probably be delivered in a week and that when it was, they would call me and I wouldn't need to make an appointment to get it installed, it was a 10 minute job with a screw driver that could be done out in the parking lot.

Fast forward about two weeks and I didn't hear back from Ford. I went to the shop. A rather sour faced looking woman was working the counter, the gentleman I dealt with was nowhere to be found.

I told her I had ordered a mirror for my Ford Contour and was told it would be here in a week. She seemed annoyed that she had to go look at the parts counter to see if my mirror had arrived. Lo and behold, it was in the parts warehouse. She brought it in. "Do you want us to install it?"

"Yes, the guy who placed my order said that you all could do it in the parking lot at soon as it got here."

"Nobody told you that." she snapped.

"Are you calling me a liar?" I asked her.

"I'm not calling you anything sir, you'll have to make an appointment to get it installed. The earliest I have is next Thursday (It was Friday)."

    "Fine." I said.

I drop off my car that following Thursday, catch a ride to work with my friend, then come back in the afternoon to pick up my car. I was charged a half hours worth of labor on top of the $250 for the mirror. While I was driving home, I noticed the mirror was shaking really bad. I stop and inspect it. The #### thing was loose. I pried off the trim on the passenger side and noticed all the screws weren't even tightened. I got my toolbox and tightened the screws with a screwdriver.

I wrote Borman Ford Mazda in Las Cruces, NM a letter detailing my experience and how I'd never set foot on their lot again nor would I recommend them to anyone. Never heard back.

Yes. Problem? I wasn't the rude a-hole abusing paying customers for no reason. Odd that this minor detail would even bother you enough to comment.

What she did was wrong, rude, and uncalled for..............

    BUT..............................

With all due respect, you are a true O/O but have no phone?? Come on man, even if you didnt want to put your real number a simple misplaced number from your real one or a fake number would have just satisfied their requirement of having a phone number. Once again, she was in the wrong for what she said BUT if you were about to secure another account I bet you would satisfy their requirement of having a phone number so why not just put ALL the required info they require?? I worked briefly at a store and if we didnt get ALL the required information for a return they would swear up and down we were trying to deceive them somehow.

I repeat she was VERY MUCH IN THE WRONG for the comments she said to you!!

What does it matter? Good for you on writing to corporate. I wouldn't have had the patience to do so. I would have gotten me some new zip ties and thrown the old ones in her face. In my short time out here a piece of truck stop working slime has disrespected me twice. I always win:).. Not to sound like billy bad xxx or nothing, but in my mind how does a driver let someone of that stature disrespect them? I dunno.. We all handle things differently, however I cant imagine myself being insulted by an employee at any truck stop.
