Ohh yea... Just remembered - the no dash lights on the KW's problem - happens when you turn the truck on before the computer finishes the diagnostics. So just turn it off, turn on the ignition and wait the 10 seconds or so till you hear it finish with all the system checks.

FYI, for anyone with that problem...

In any case, I don't care who you are or where you are. Bottom line, one of the top cheerleaders has bailed out already and more soon to follow. At the end of the day, do this .... stop cheerleading to get your recruiting bonus. Be honest for Christ sake. I was in the military as well, and we both know recruiters, no matter what, are in it for the money, no matter who they are or what "position" they "hold". They/you don't give a rat's butt who we are as long as it benefits you/them on the paycheck. This program is nothing more than a company driver paying the operating expenses for them while they continue to depreciate the value of the truck on the books because they still own it until you pay for it. I also don't care at this point, who from ACT that lurks here reads this. You should take more time in your rushed orientation. "I'm not going to hold up this schedule because of a simple truck color" ... as was said to my orientation class, directed at me. Take time to let folks really "see" what they are getting into. Let them take the truck on a testdrive to see if they like it. Tell them that they will be "hung out to dry" if they don't have a maint. fund built up enough to cover a trashed tire from a junk, no traction single drive axle, super single tired truck that gets stuck in a puddle of mouse piss on a table top level lot. Don't come to me and say you made 80k last year, and then two weeks later say you have to pay 16k in taxes because you didn't pay it quarterly. Don't tell me you get 8 + mpg and not tell me how much you spend of your own money for cash fuel so it doesn't get charged to the truck via the comdata card and hence, to the QC. Don't tell me how you are the poster child with a photo on the shop wall for mpg. Don't tell me how your posts here have gotten you the "choice" loads in return for your effort because everything here gets sent to/ seen by ACT. Don't tell me what it's really like, just tell me the "good" parts so I'll bite that baited hook, and make everyone happy for a bit eh? As I said in my last post, disappointed ? yes. Animosity, no. Folks screw folks everyday to further their own agenda and to further themselves at the expense of others. We all know this ... at least we should. I knew this going in and had to see for myself. I was suspicious, skeptical, but I had to see for myself. Lesson learned, experience noted. Shame on me. ... Keep on cheering cheerleaders if it helps you and your agenda. Otherwise .... meh, ... don't tell me, show me. Indentured servitude is not what I had in mind. BTW, sour grapes?, nah, never got that far. It's a good deal, go for it.

First of all yes my ugly mug is on the wall for fuel mileage and no I don't pay cash for fuel to get it there because it would not help you do it. Those numbers are the ECM fuel mileage numbers the truck shows when they do the downloads off Qualcomm every week. Yes I am over 8.0 mpg every quarter but they are not even real numbers since they are about 1 mpg higher than the actual fuel mileage my truck gets. I drive slow to do it. I don't recruit hardly at all anymore and twig is the only person I recruited since July of last year. Truth be told the reason is because I got tired of people getting into this and whining because they could not make it. I made it just fine before ACT even knew who I was or was aware of this thread. I don't really get more miles now than before they knew of this thread either. The main reason I get miles is because I don't screw around and usually deliver early if it is a load that can be delivered early and if you have been here awhile you know which loads those are. I also still work there but my truck has been down for about a week now.

Not poicking sides here, but this thread has gotten of course from it's original basis. It works for some and for some it does not. I don't really see any need to take it any further than that. I watched this thread for information and that information has stopped and it has become a distraction from what it was originally intended to be my opinion.

$195 - since it's black it's much cheaper. Gebo's in TX. And no not thru Act. I forget the size but its 24 or 26" wide.
