We could put him on top of hubbys bull rack while he's under a load, and see how long he lasts on the stringers up there. I bet he would change his mind about the simplicity of the job!![]()

Yes I do, and I have never seen one of those apparatus things you talk about. There is no means for us in our terminal to clean the tops of trailers, and our trucking company is continent-wide, so I assume that if that was mandated by law, we would have one.

That was my initial thought too Roadkill!!!

I live in Pa, Ice enough for everyone, I can tell you that safe facilities do not exist in most of the twenty or so states I drove through. Hey, maybe I could dislodge it from the inside of the van, if the van is empty you might be able to but you need some thing like a 2x4 and then you may damage the thing in the attempt. This is one of those issues that will not be corrected until x amount of damages are paid out, even if you wanted to clean it off, it would be difficult at best with very little equipment to help you. drive55cat

I'll keep the ice off of my truck when the DOT can keep the ice off the freeway. After all I would bet my left ...um...er... ..kidney that more people are hurt from the ice on the road.
