    Yeah, Jones Motor group out of Pa. been here since 1894. Flats. Vans. Hot Shots. C.R.England since the 20's, FFE since 1946, and Willis Shaw since the 30's. Hirschback since the 30's. There are plenty more but most have changed hands from the original owners.

    Bekins Van Lines started in 1891 and I'm an agent for Jones Motor out of Spring City, PA they started in 1894. Our MC number is 4963. Someone said the oldest MC number belongs to Mayflower moving . . .

    I'm glad to see there are still so many old trucking companies out there, and some still family owned and operated like mine! We may not be the oldest in the US, but Haley Trucking was founded in 1919 as far as I've found looking into it, and correct me if I'm wrong, we're the oldest trucking company in New York.
    The DOT didn't begin operating until 1967, so the number given really doesn't have any bearing on the age of the company.
