No the 5 pin connector is only for the tail lights and it's located in the back of the truck in the frame on top of the rear driver side airbag the splice is in the tail lights harness after the connection about 4 or 5 inches from the connector

I forgot to tell u guys but the above info is only on volvo 2004 and newer older volvo truck have a different set up.

I had same problem with my volvo , checked 5 pin connector looks gud no rust these tail sometimes work sometimes blink and stop but turn signal, brakes,4way all works. Any clue please ?

not accurate... 3 wires yes BUT 1 is for turn/brake.... 1 for parking and 1 is GROUND....nikmirbre Thanks this.

Wiring can be a pain. In my case I had to trace all the wires and took off layers of factory electrical tape. Even though the tape looked in good condition, I still ripped it all off, took forever but when I did, I found the open circuit.
