I was on a dedicated account. The company lost the contract, so I left for greener pastures.

While I experienced all of the above with Werner, that was not the reason I had to stop truck driving. In spite of it all it was a better option as a job than most of the other jobs I had. Werner was far from being a "good" trucking company but I do think they might have been better than average. I just could no longer fake my physical to keep on driving. I never lived by the credo that the boss is always right yet they never fired me for sticking up for my rights. They got mighty upset though.

Hometime! Although we got a good raise too, but hometime was the big reason.

Sitting at to many docks for 8-10-14 hours and never getting a nickel .

We got to see America & Canada several times. Enough to live well is all that counts.

None of them really were a factor. Just wanted to be an o/o. -
Transmission self destructed and put them out of business (was driving for an owner operator).

retired........From one of those really "good" companies....you know the ones that don't exist.....
