What is the hometime like? Weekends? Every 2 weeks? Just curious.

They would like for drivers to stay out 10-14 days, which would be home every other weekend or 3rd weekend. Those drivers that run northeast may be home on the weekends depending on location.

Runningman, you run like a mad man, doesn't that back and forth take its toll on you after a few turns?

I'm training a student right now, and he has been on the truck about 8 weeks now so we're almost running like a team now. There training program is 24 weeks. The final 12 weeks we will run in a team mode. He is a great student and is a very capable driver thus far. So running coast to coast isn't bad. After a two or three week run a few days off is needed and well deserved.

Well as expected we grabbed a Wal Mart from Colton, Ca headed back to Gordonsvile, Va for an early Sunday morning delivery. Be safe and have a good weekend.

I don't go into deep detail like others, but I do try and give a quick snap shot.

The lettuce load from California that delivered in Gordonsville this morning turned out to be a nightmare. They loaded the pallets so screwed up that every pallets fell over and had to be retacked. 4.5 hours later we finally got out of there. We picked up a two stopper of the yard in Richmond going to Iowa and finishing up in Cheyene, Wyoming
. Currently running across Pa. playing in the Spring snow storm. Be safe!
