Well, looks like I'm headed out to Iowa on the 30th to do a refresher and put my time in at CRST. Class starts April 1st, anyone else headed that way? I know everyone hates them but I'm willing to try anything once, twice if I like it. Wish me luck!

Why did you choose CRST? You would have been better off at Swift or Schneider if you want to work at a mega carrier.

After A LOT of research and trying, it's the best option for me personally, if I have to put my 8 months in and run kickin' and screamin' from them I will.

You make it sound like your trying a new french restaurant, not your livelihood with truck driving.

I have heard, they push you into a LEASE look up the lease threads on here, I would not lease a truck on a company who owns the paper if my life depended on it, They are very governed but so is Swift and Orange so that you have to live with, All of the luck in the world isn't going to give you what you are about to receive from a company who does gave a hoot about the driver let alone you THE driver you care about, But I guess all of them are like that. I guess if that is your choice then jump but be aware there is always a bus trip home, less then a $99.00 one way most of the time. Pack lightly but take enough to get by with so you don't have to buy stuff at the TS they will screw you over on all of your necessary items because they know you are on your ten they know you can't move the truck and so if you need it, they got it, you get screwed to get it.:biggrin_25523:

Why is it the best option for you?
