Yup... there were 4 brand new lil Purkle Prostars out in back of Driver's Lineup last week, and a batch of new 2014 Cascadias (lease trucks) with names on them scattered around. Leasing told me that they want a six month lead on ordering anything for a new lease. Only thing about those '14s... it's illegal to change anything on them once they're delivered.

BTW... they've opened up those local slots at Olney and Shelbyville to our company drivers, but you have to live in the area or relocate.

Could the shortage of trucks be the reason my recruiter said she couldn't process my app till July. I can't seem to get her to reply to my email or voicemails. Does it matter I marked flatbed on my app. I am at a loss and don't want to be rude and talk to a different recruiter. Thanks for any advice.

The previous answer you got is correct... they don't want to process your app too early. Make sure you keep in touch with them, and when you get closer to the date you want to start make sure they're paying attention!

Just for future reference, they are slammed down there in recruiting. Best results for contact are an email... that get's answered before voicemail - if there's time in a day to answer voicemail, or camping out on hold until you get the person you want. Plan on waiting a LONG time, have something to occupy yourself and to drink at hand!!!
