Am I the only one who puts them in the vertical position when parked for the night when it's snowing? I look around the next morning and see all these guys out standing on tires trying to get the ice knocked off. If you run them into the vertical position that wouldn't happen...just my bit-o-advice.

Many trucks return them to the bottom when the key is shut off .
-
Not important to me, my truck heat keeps my windshield clear in that type of weather.
Numb Thanks this. -
gone are the days of those wonderful air wipers...but also gone are the days of R model and FLD's that you could reach out the window and smack the wipers to get the ice off...window too small and arms too short to smack wipers on junkstar..I mean prostar!
Tonythetruckerdude and aiwiron Thank this. -
Man, you just reminded me of just how old I am......aiwiron Thanks this.
-
But if you leave them in the vertical position how will they remove the snow that's under/around them?
aiwiron Thanks this. -
Yeah, but you could do that to the passenger wiper from the driver's seat...that is if you were fancy enough to have a passenger side wiper.
-
When the truck is shut off? If they're already full then you'd have to pop them first.
-
I can pull my wipers away from the windshield and they will stay that way just like any car.
