Already been suggested. OW only covers non-divisible loads (his load is divisible), and it doesn't allow for axle weights, only total gross weight. He's not over 80K gross.
-
cant get a permit on a divisable load like that.

I was tired, hungry, grumpy, and twisted my axle a little bit as I climb off the deck due to the sole on my boots getting hung on the rubrail. I thought I had plenty of room on my axles.
This won't happen again. Lesson learned. If I could move my front axle to the middle position, I bet this load would scale.
Called my coordinator and agent this morning and got it all worked out. Agent was mentioning how Mercer would handle this. I asked him what he meant. He said they would probably split the cost of moving the load. I told the agent that I had assumed that I would pay all of the costs as this is my fault.
Why would Mercer pay anything? Agent said he would kick up his profit of the load. I would feel better paying for my own stupidity. -
He would also be over on his axle weights for his trailer. 20,000 pounds per axle is max.

Have another truck/trailer combo back up to your load and have him push while you watch the load shift forward?
Pics, need pics mang, im sure it could be done, but wrecker probably best bet.
Dont hurt yourself. -
Just went through the beginning posts....you have a mess on your hands. You are 76400GVW yet 44000. With the trailer so heavy, I wager that you have to be near to 12000 on the steer. That puts somewhere in the range of 20000 on your drives. What to do? If you were not stuck in the scales, I would suggest running through the woods at night. What about sliding the load by loosening the securement and a quick stop? Theres the chance that you will damage your trailer or Arkansas state property. You could drop the trailer and bobtail to Home Depot and pick up a couple come-a-longs. The scale will allow you to bobtail out. This problem is common with a 53 ft step with the 10'2 spread all the way to the rear of the trailer.

They will slide.
Either hard brake at a slow speed or drag them with your chains.
And with the chain running over the upper part, you can lift then a little.
In fact, rereading my post.........an idea came to mind.
Chain over the upper deck.
3 chainbinders hooked to each other
other chain round the billet.
Tighten all 3.
If you can lift the billet that way,go behind the billet with a BIG crowbar.
Might move them a little like that. -
Hmmm...how much dunnage do you have? I think I would try to slide it. Bellyrap the ingots together with a strap, put down another 4x4 under the fronts of the ingots...or get a 4x4 behind them, butted up against the ends with a chain wrapped around either end of the 4x4, chains ran forward to a spool, and slowly ratchet the load forward.
